ABOUT ART DAY CELEBRATION
Art Day Celebration (ADC) is a program created by Art In Motion and Diakonos International to cultivate and empower impoverished and underprivileged children through the Arts, thus creating a fusion between the arts and charity.
ABOUT ART IN MOTION
In 2008, Ford Model Monica Watkins started Art in Motion to discover and give a voice to incredible young talent from the inner-city who have a burning desire to be part of something greater than themselves, with an emphasis on charity, social consciousness, artistic freedom and global harmony. Over the past several years, Monica has managed artists, hosted the Art in Motion TV/Radio Show at Urban Latino Radio, shot, directed, and edited film and photography campaigns, organized and produced numerous charity events, concerts, and art exhibits throughout NYC and has raised thousands of dollars for organizations such as Housing Works, Diakonos International, GEMS, Stoked Mentoring and Doctors Without Borders.
