Miu Miu Presents “The Door”
The fashion-forward short film was directed by Ava DuVernay and stars Gabrielle Union, Alfre Woodard, & Goapele.
While the door is the entryway that brings each friend in to support the main character, played by Gabrielle Union, through her experiences. This dialogue-less story also uses the daily changing of clothes to symbolize the main character’s need of change in her life.

Preview of David Beckham’s Bodywear Collection for H&M
This will be his second collection with H&M since debuting his bodywear for the retailer earlier this year.
If you’re in NYC, Los Angeles or San Francisco, Becks will be visiting your respective cities for a couple weeks! Well… replicas of him. Silver statutes of him are on display throughout the 3 cities from now through August 31st!

Best of Elie Saab Couture Fall 2012

Prior to the Art Day Celebration fundraiser, ADC and Life Preservers held a photo shoot here in NYC in support of Art Day Celebration’s cause. The shoot featured designs by fashion designer Adrian Alicea and footwear designer John Asford. The ADC t-shirts modeled by Monica Watkins, Danielle ‘Dani’ Evans, and Angela Simmons were designed by Dani.

I blogged about these Céline shades back in November. Still LOVE them!
In June, @ADCHaiti held its first annual fundraiser at 1Oak in NYC. Not only was it a blast, but it was for a great cause! The evening benefited the 2-day event, Art Day Celebration, which provided art instruction and workshops to about 150 Haitian children in Carrefour, Haiti in July.
At the fundraiser, there were great live performances and an awesome fashion show produced by Runway Haiti featuring various designers. Check out some photos I captured below. To view video footage from the event and learn about the significance of the cause, click here.
