Nars Pure Radiance Tinted Moisturizer
Nars is famous for their best-selling Orgasm blush as well as their matte lip pencils and other cult favorites. I’m a big fan of their Illuminator in Orgasm which was released last summer and love their formaldehyde-free nail polish in Night Rider.
On Feb. 1, Nars will begin rolling out their new tinted moisturizer at Nordstrom stores then Feb 15 at their NYC flagship store on Bleecker Street. It will eventually be followed by a full rollout throughout the US in March. According to WWD, Nars will offer 9 shades. From the looks of it, the colors will range from light to very deep which is a great thing because women of color will have more options in this category. Finding the perfect foundation or tinted moisturizer is challenging for any woman, but as a woman of color even more so. I will always love my Make Up Forever HD Foundation and my MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, but with the changes of seasons and the ever-changing weather conditions within seasons I definitely like to have options and switch it up occasionally.
P.S. In an effort to get consumers to try their new tinted moisturizer, Nars will provide info on how to obtain samples (most likely via their Facebook page like they’ve done in the past). So look out for it, I know I will!
